You guys are stupid. Javascript is a whole different thing from Java. Javascript has AJAX involved while Java needs a compiler and is a whole different language. Javascript is built into the browser. I would suggest updating or getting a new version of your browser or get Firefox.

For the Macromedia topic, just lookup Macromedia on Yahoo or Google and download the newest version. Your flash may also need to be updated.

Listen to me, not MML

Just update your Flash,.. when you click on it and it says what you say above there,.. there's a bit there too that gives you a link/button to update your Macromedia Flash Player,. click it,. it'll take you away from the page you're on,.. to the Adobe Macromedia Flash website and this will in turn give you the option to update it, click Install, wait a while,. (couple of mins tops),. and there will be a spinning metal block that then tells you you have successfully updated your Flash Player,. now go back to youtube and watch your chosen vids :)

First deal with the Java Issue

Problems can occur if you are running more than one version of Java as they can cause conflicts with each other. Furthermore, Java has a nasty habit of not removing older versions when updating to the newest so you have to uninstall old versions manually.

Assuming that you are in the Administrator account, go to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs and uninstall everything that says J2SE, Java and Java Runtime. Reboot (some computers require a reboot to complete the uninstall process). Then go to the site below and download the most recent version of Java.

Afterwards, in IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced tab and scroll down to the Java section and tickmark the "Use 1.6.1 (version changes with each update) for applet". Click Apply, Click OK and reboot (a reboot is required for some computers for the settings to stick).

Next the Flash Player issue

Assuming you are in the administrator account, first check Add/Remove Programs to see if you have Adobe or Macromedia Flash installed. If yes uninstall them using the new Uninstaller provided by Adobe and reboot (some computers require a reboot to completely uninstall programs)

Then try to download the Flash player again from the following site:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/

However, it has been reported that some people are having issues downloading the full version directly from Adobe. If that is the case, you may want to try to download it as a standalone.

Note: Flash Player is not a program per se. It is a plug-in to your web browser to allow flash content to be displayed and is required for many gaming sites.
================
Afterwards check your setting in IE7. Go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and scroll down to the Multimedia section and ensure that the appropriate settings are indicated.

under where it says that, there should be a link, follow the link and then follow the instructions to download the newer version. If that isnt the real reason just leave it on the page, i've noticed youtube always says that on my computer for a seconde before the video loads, you might just need to wait for the video to load???

anyone else?
