I do, and fully support him, however, the sad truth is that he will probably not get the nomination because he IS an honest man. The media isnt behind him, and most of the general public will never get his message.

Hit pieces are quicker to write than thoughtful answers. Just look at the way this question played out... all the supporters at the bottom, all the hacks at the top.
PS: Guess I was too late... Elway_the_cat loves Hillary, and has a 95% chance of calling Ron an American Apologist in every single post that he/she sees.

A breath of fresh air would be term limits on Congress, a Constitutional amendment limiting government growth & taxation, abolishing the current tax system & IRS, abolishing the federal Department of Education & Agriculture & Human Services and eliminating campaign finance reform laws so the common man could have a chance at running for office......this would be a breath of fresh air.
Ron Paul has one or two decent ideas and a slew of terrible ones. He is nothing to get excited about.

Yes I do. He is exactly the sort of man and politician this country needs after Clinton-Bush debacles.
Ron Paul is actually the guy who could unite this country again and get people working together instead of poking each other in the eye everyday.

No, I think the man is a nutjob. I don't vote for American apologists, idiots who think isolationism will work in this world atmosphere, or fools who wish to dismantle the CIA. Thank God he's got about as much chance at being elected as Bugs Bunny.
EDIT: Thomas - I'm sorry you are a Ron Paul supporter, but that is how he is perceived by most of the American public. That's why his poll numbers continue to hover around 1 or 2%. Sorry you don't like to hear the truth, but it's not my problem. Yep, I keep saying the same things about him because they are true. Don't like it, too bad.

Yes, he is an honest politician who votes with his conscience, not by what polls say. He is a strict constitutionalists who does not vote for bills that go against it. He is a advocate of small government and believes that less government is better.
He certainly is not like any other politician in Washington.
Unfortunately he cannot win, they will not even let him debate.

He is what this country needs. I have a feeling he is too good to be true. Not saying that He is a fake, but im saying that politics in power will do anything they can to keep him out of office.

Of course, if one actually looks into him. The media won't help you know anything about him. Most people are sick of hearing his name on the internet, but that's where he is most popular for now.
