The whole country is amazing...The people, the traditions, the food, , the sun the sea...But firts of all the hospitality, first of all the heart of the people who live in this country(natives)and the way we express ourselves.
Greek culture is not so easy to be expressed with few words..
It is a mixted of old traditions, oriental, and western ones..
It' s up to everyone to live them, to adopt them, or to reject them...
But he will surely be amazed of them....

I have eaten Greek food in NYC that makes me want to do a restaurant tour of Greece. I would eat my way around the whole place and see sights as I go.

You should see at least one ancient temple (wherever), you should visit at least one island and swim there (wherever in the Aegean or the Ionian seas, except Salamina and Astypalea), you should see one sunset in Athens (great colours filtered by the smog) or anywhere else by the seaside and you should at least once drink a glass of ouzo and eat some octopus at (or in) a taverna by any seaside. And if you stay longer, you should at least once walk or drive up a mountain (you'll never believe that you are in Greece, it all seems so central European up there).

You must see at least one village and to meet at least one villager. You must eat sheep meat in a tavern along a street's village, you must taste octopus and shells in a restaurant close to the sea, you must see Meteora's monasteries and to swim in Peloponese - you are swimming in the sea and in front of you it is a mountain. You must see Pylos, it is the largest natural port in Europe and a very beautiful village.
