makes me miserable, I'm very much enjoying the african heat wave we are currently experiencing on the east coast. I'm ready to move to Arizona where it's always hot. Love the heat :) hate the cold :( car doesn't start, sitting in the freezing car at 7am waiting for it to warm up to go to work, heavy sweaters and jackets all the time, boo hiss, not to mention my most hated of all things, snow :(

Contrary to folk wisdom, exposure to cold does not seem to be responsible for catching a cold or the flu. A study published in the late 1960s, for example, showed that chilling volunteers (actually, prison inmates) did not make them more susceptible to infection with rhinovirus, one of the kinds of viruses that often cause colds, and did not make their colds worse.

Think of your body as a big bag of chemical reactions. Not very glamerous I know. These reactions are very sensitive to temperature. Under normal conditions, your body can maintain your internal temperature at a constant level but if it is too cold (or too hot for that matter) and your internal temperature fluctuates too far, these reactions stop working and your body shuts down - you die.

I am unable to function in the cold. I cannot move.I become ill. Its one of
the reasons i moved south. So that I might enjoy a shorter
winter season.

Makes me want to hibernate.
Hurts my lungs. Makes me sad I can't go outside and play. And it makes me extra tired and hungry. I live in Michigan so I feel coldness allot around here.

i shiver a lot and throw blankets on me to keep myself warm. then i get really lonely cuz i miss my boyfriend and i wish he was here to hold me...:( its why i'm not much of a fan of cold weather
