At first I thought that this new system would be good to get rid of the trolls but it has gotten completely out of hand with the continual deleting of answers and "suspension" of accounts.

I have had simple 2-3 word answers like "sorry, no" and "you are wrong" deleted for being "against community guidelines". What the hell is happening here?

Other users don't like your answers so they reported you. Yes, this has happened to me too....I had my account suspended for absolutely the stupidest comment.

I think you're right. There is a serious problem with the way answers are deleted and accounts are suspended. I think that Yahoo staff members who are allowed to take this kind of action should have there own identities known by the general community. I wonder if there are a few self-righteous staff members who need to be confronted and their practices reviewed by Yahoo Answers management.
This question is post in the wrong place. It should go under the topics, Yahoo! Products> Yahoo! Answers

The troll issue seriously needs to be addressed (there's got to be a way to ban people for good) but some of the answers that get pulled, don't actually appear to be in violation.

Dispute your short answers if you don't feel they were inappropriate and ask Y!A to let you know which guideline you violated. I don't recall seeing one that dictated a character minimum, even though I think many type yes/no answers just to get points.

because people are dumb and will report anything they dont agree with.

i think if you come on here and ask a question your asking for it! peoples opinions will not always match yours.

i answered a stupid, obviously fake quesiotn, with an equally stupid answer and got reported.

good grief charlie brown.
