High pressure attachment for your hose will help. Cheap at Home Depot.

First, it's best not to let their cages get that nasty. Daily cleaning is the answer.

You should have a pull-out tray below their wire cage. If you don't, consider replacing the cage.

So pull out the tray and knock out the loose berries. Take a paint scraper and scrape the pan to get the stuck-on ones off.

Spray the tray with a hose and scrub it with a good disinfectant that's safe for livestock - available at your feed store.

Set the tray to dry in the sun. Replace when dry.

Finally, if the dung is caked on as you say, you can fill the tray with warm water and set it in the sun for an hour or so to soak. Then scrape with the paint scraper.

try a coarse wire brush to get it off.... think of it like a bar b q Pitt, with the separated bars, and hard to remove material. You can use almost anything ( not chem cleaners) that you would use to scrape a Pitt.

well.. first off.. after you clean it... put some newspaper there so you won't have to repeat the process.

In order to remove the rabbit crap... let the tray soak for a little while in a mixture of 2 parts water, 1 part bleach. Let soak for 3-4 hours... or until you see it start to flake off... you might have to scrub with a brush in the corners... but it's waht has worked for me. Good luck!!

DO NOT USE BLEACH! The fumes will stay on the bars and will wreck the bunny's lungs! Use apple cider vinegar. It works well and doesn't hurt the animal. Good luck!

windex (then before you put the bunny back into the cage you wash the windex residue off)
