is the best U2 song ever?

I think, for about a dozen reasons, that One is a better song. WTSHNN is brilliant and man, I remember the first time I heard that, in high school, the day of the release. I think there are a few songs on The Joshua Tree that might actually rival WTSHNN for best song from Joshua Tree...
But "One", off of "Achtung Baby" is definitely the song that defines who U2 is as a band, and the potential of their music. It's powerful, beautiful, moving, and deep, and that's where they were best, imho.

I hate that song, it reminds me of 9-11 when the trade center went down. However, I do love U2 but that song has a horrible association for me now.

I disagree, but then again, I'm not and never was a U2 fan. Don't know why, I just never could relate to their songs.
