My wife is indian from Guyana and performs many traditions that she doesn't know why or what the traditions history are.

Interesting dear.... I think you mean Hindu traditions. Unless you tell me what she performs and how.. I can't gess it but if you exactrly tell me I can give you the right answer. There are few traditions the wife does for the good life of husband and family. On full moon days and different days.

'Hindi' as you call it may be some hindu traditions and regional practices. But without knowing specifically which ones, am at a loss to explain them to you. Most of the traditional customs have a meaning and a logic behind them. So If you please you can always write to me and inquire, I shall try and explain them to you to the best of my knowledge.
