There is more to this question than one might think at a first glance. First of all, I don't have a child (at least not yet and/or that I know of LOL), but I do have a little dog that I adore dearly. He looks up to me as though I was his dad, and if it really comes down to it I'm sure I would give my life to defend him. So going by that analogy I'm certain I would do the same thing for my child - no if's or but's about it. ... However, giving up your LIFE for your child does NOT necessarily equate with giving up EVERYTHING for your child. ... So my answer is: I would give up everything for my child (my life included, if it has to come to that) except for my INTEGRITY; especially when it comes to my child's own well-being and sense of decency.

I will give up my life style but not my life. I can do so much more living for my child than dying for them. How could I comfort my child when their said if im not there.
you willing to die for some one but are you willing to live for them?
