NEVER! He's to defensively (ball control) mined to ever open up the offense to win it all. It's all or nothing to win a Superbowl and he's not brave enough to go for it ALL!
The Detroit Lions will win a Superbowl before Schottenheimer!

His strength and his weakness is that he is too conservative. When the chips are down, he almost always plays it safe. He's an excellent team-builder, so that works fine in the regular season when you're playing weaker teams and can just trample them with LT and flick it to Gates once and a while, but when you're playing a team like the Pats, sometimes you just have to let the dice fly and hope for the best...

Never. He is out of chances. He is a terrible playoff coach and he isn't getting any younger. His overly conservative Marty-Ball nature is what works against him.

No! He is cursed. He should try college ball to remove the curse then return to coach the Cleveland Browns who are also cursed.

How someone can be so dominant in the regular season, then so incompetent/unlucky in the playoffs is a mystery.
