i'm going on vacation and was wondering if my 512 MB card will suffice or if i should buy a 1GB card too. i have a nikon coolpix L3 set on TV screen [640] mode. please help!! i leave in 3 days.

it depends on the megapixels and settings of the camera ... the 512 may hold 150 .. the 1 gig maybe 250 with a 7 megapixel cam .. if u have somthing in the 640X somthing resolution range probably like 400 or so on the 1 gig ..

That really depends on the size and quality of the pictures you take, and even with the stock settings can vary from image to image a bit.

Just to be safe, go buy a name brand 1G card.

depends on length of vacation. of course yuo would be better of with 1gb. I learned my lesson id rather have better quality than quantity and the cost now of a 2gb is minimal. go with 2gb and set camera to fine. you can thank me later

Read The Friendly Manual (RTFM) for your camera. There should be a table or chart showing all the info you need.

That really depends on now snap-happy you get, and what resolution (picture size) you have your camera set for.
