There have been 259 Exoplanets discovered thus far in the new search of outer space for an Earth-like equivalent.
They all have numerical names and a catalog of them is available on the Internet.

To get over to this listing, do a search on the internet for:
Curious About Astronomy

That will lead you to a site developed by Cornell university for young or amateur astronomers. It is a swell site, and there you will see a link to "Search for Exoplanets." Key on that link and you can obtain the list. There are no neat names like Frank or John though...

There are no new planets in our solar system; in fact one former planet, Pluto, has now been demoted to a "dwarf planet". There are many new planets being discovered in other solar systems, but none of these have names, except designations based on the names of the stars they orbit.

There is NO planet named Xena! This was a temporary designation given by its discoverer. It is now named Eris, and is a dwarf planet, like Pluto.

They arent technically planets, they are in the same category that pluto is now in The two that are most famous are Charon (you might know it better as Pluto's moon) and Xena.

They are Eris (after Pluto) and Ceres (after Mars in the asteroid belt) which are both dwarf planets.
