Hell yeah if they can pull themselves together. they've been through worse. And they have come back from being 9 games behind. They deserve it so i hope they do.

Being a HUGE Mariners fan, I sure as hell hope so. Seatttle has a good ball club. They just need to stay focused. They are long overdue for some sort of championship title. A.L. West would be nice but, World Series would be awesome. The city of Chicago can cry about the Cubs not being in the Series since 1918, but look at all of Chicago's other trophies. The city of Seattle can't buy a major championship. The Pittsburgh Steelers bought the Super Bowl the Seahawks should have won. What 2 touchdowns taken away from the Seahawks? That wasn't right.

The Mariners look like they could be on the way up, especially if they can hang on to Suzuki. But the Angels might be the best team in baseball right now. They have solid pitching start to finish, and Chone Figgins gives them depth all by himself. I don't see any weaknesses: Anybody who's going to beat them is going to have to be both good and lucky.

And I hate L.A.-area teams, and have twice in the last six years seen my Yankees get beat by them in the Playoffs, so this is not biased in the slightest. (It was fun watching them whine over that A.J. Pierzynski play in the '05 Playoffs, though.)

Nope, after the Twins sweep the A's right now the A's most likely will pack it up pack it in and trade away some talent to get some prospects. On the other hand, the Mariners I think will come back to earth and not make the playoffs either.

No way...no disrespect, but they don't have the pitching to keep up with the Angels. Jeff Weaver will revert to his old ways. And as for Oakland...i don't see how they'll be able to catch them...Rich Harden, for starters, can't stay healthy.

I think they can the way they are playing right now. If there bats stay hot and the pitching holds up. If they don't catch them I think they will get the wild card spot.

Not unless the Angels lose some players to injury and start to lose.
