yes my doctor is an artist, also. and plays organ at church, and is just about the kindest, most talented human being I have ever known. He is my daughter's godfather.

I have a lady doctor and you can easily read her handwriting, but it does look like a 12 year olds. It's all those notes they had to take in med school, all that writing is what my dads excuse is. Not sure if it's true or not.

yes, so I told him he must've flunked the handwriting course in doctor school. It's not supposed to be legible.

sometimes, but understand there are short cuts and medical terminology, and abbreviations you may not understand. Sometimes people equate that to illegible handwriting.
ie. adl, bid, tid, qid
stand for adl=activities of daily living, tid=twice a day, tid=three times a day, andqid= 4 times a day
or a dot over a dash with a line under it means 1 time or two dots over a dash with 2 lines under that means 2 times.

a tad bit. I can only read it because I have to be able to read my own handwriting!

What a silly question. You don't realize that the reason it's illegible on prescriptions is because he's writing in semi-latin? That's why you can't read it, he's using terms that are not in English.

*sigh*
