on richard and judy theres a rock band made up of really old people covering The Who and My Generation!! did anyone see it? if you did, what did you think?

there was a documentary a few months ago about lonely old people in old peoples homes etc..and the guy interviewing them decided to get them to form a band called "the zimmers". he was so good with them and made them alive again. excellent programme and good luck to them,why should they just vegetate

Strange!! - think of this, when "my generation" came out in the 60`s, these same people were telling the kids that the song and the `who` were crap!!

Good on them for having a go!! I'm old but my mum is 'really old' and 'no' Jimi she didn't think 'The Who' were crap. Ask any 'oldie' and I'm sure they'll tell you they loved the 60's when their kids were teenagers and the music.

i've seen snippets of it but not the whole thing - but i think it's a great idea! The elderly are becoming a forgotten generation, so the song is very appropriate.

They been around a while. I saw the documentary on them getting the band together.

Absolute disgrace. I'm opposed all things corny and saccahrine and this thing takes the piss...it used to be a song about rebellion; the Townshend of the 60s would have hated it, he probably loves it now he's gone all middle-class.
I'm welling up here...I hate it so bloody much.
