A rttng clndr wd b gd...(Ahem) A rotating cylinder would be good. A rotating wheel would also be good. A sphere would NOT be good, because only the people on the "equator" would be able to stand up straight. A rotating dumbbell would work provided the rotation axis is perpendicular to the dumbbell's axis.

For the best simulation of earth gravity, the rotating structure's diameter should be as large as possible. A small structure is fine for making a plate stick to a table; but a larger structure has these advantages:
* The landscape looks "flatter" to the inhabitants;
* The gravity doesn't change so much as you move "up" and "down";
* The "coriolis" force is reduced (this is a force that pushes moving things to the side, so they don't end up where you think they're headed).

If money is no object, I would go for a big, hollow cylinder, maybe a mile or two in diameter and a couple of miles long. This is big enough for it to actually have its own weather, which would make the inhabitants feel even more at home.

The shape should be a cuboid with curved edges. This way the 'gravity' will be equally distributed as in a sphere the inhabitants will not be able to move around much.

It could be just about any shape - a dumbbell, a wheel, a cylinder - you just need something spinning about a central axis - how far out your living area is from the axis will determine at what speed you'll want to spin it.

Come on, dude, save that stuff for TM, okay?

Spherical (like the Earth). Appoximately the same size. Condition will be nearly identical. And you will probably lose points in your competition for not using English.
