Not at all! They usually took the other person's side and made me apologize.

My parents NEVER made excuses for our bad behavior, we got in deep doo doo whenever we did anything wrong. Allowing kids to get away with murder just turns them into adults that suffer from entitlement, they live without boundaries, and never respect anyone or anything. My kids screw up they get the horns.

sounds like if she's no longer listening to you in case you're being calm together with her, she's no longer likely to hearken to what you ought to assert with regard to the placement, no matter what. Do you have a hand in disciplining/raising her new child besides? possibly you may get via to him with regard to the mendacity element...in spite of the actuality that she might in comparison to that. this is an greater one. She rather desires to realize that she has a situation herself previously something's going to alter. Is there any probability you are able to p.c.. the suitable time to communicate the situation together with her, like while she's being calm and receptive?

If they thought I was wrong they made me apologize, if they thought I was right they didn't have to make an excuse...
They were very fair to everyone...if they were alive now they would still act the same, their morals and standards wouldn't have changed.

I had the perfect smartacre remark for this one.
I don't like that they did that, I wished I had had more constructive discipline and didn't have loads of attention followed by loads of neglect.
There are a lot of things I would have done different if I had raised me, but now I'm doing them with my own kids.
So yay me

No, never. If we were bad and didn't make the right decisions we suffered the consequences of it.

Nope. If someone told them I'd been bad, I got a spanking without them even asking me if it was true.

Yeah, they did, but only if I was DEFINATELY telling the truth. And they still do. I don't mind, they are only looking out for my best interest!
