I just recently found out I was pregnant, and I have a lot of questions. I am waiting to get into a doctor, so until then is there any online groups that I can get into and ask questions?

You can google and put the amount of weeks u are pregnant like me, I'm also expecting, well my second child. I am 24 weeks pregnant!!! I have a great site that tells u how big ur baby looks and all it's called babygaga.com!!! U should also get this great book that is only for pregnant women it's great it answer almost all ur questions and I mean everything, it's called "What to expect when you are expecting" even with this pregnancy I still read it to refresh my memory!! LOL U should also sign up too www.cafemom.com its great u can meet other pregnant women or just women with kids!!! Enjoy motherhood it's the greatest thing ever!!!!

They have expecting clubs for each month that mothers are due, so you are experiencing your pregnancy with other moms due around the same time as you! There are also specialty boards for first time moms and other issues, so you can have specific interests addressed. The other cool thing is that after the month passes for the due dates, they turn the board into a "playgroup" so you have an online playgroup with the other moms, sharing what your kids are doing and learning, etc....
I had my daughter in November 2003, and have "known" the other moms on my board since at least 6 months before then, so for 4 years! We are now great friends even though many of us have never met (some of us have, and it is awesome!

BabyCenter.com has the BEST groups. A group starts out as a pregnancy group, then moves into being all about the kids and families. There are lots of other groups to join too. I host Feb 05 and the Cooking For Your Family boards, and they're just amazing sources of support and friendship.

best t bet get some books (free on loan from the library) and use .gov or .edu websites.

i never used any of those online groups when i was pregnant but i hear that cafemom.com is a really good one but i know that i did however follow my pregnancy with babycenter.com which i believe is also americanbaby.com but there isnt any best site or group its all depends on you and which one you feel is the best for you. i suggest you google online pregnancy chat groups or whatever else you may be looking for and try them all to find which one you prefer! good luck with the baby! if this is your first i suggest you take alot of pictures because the 1st year really does go by super fast!Congrats!!!

Ivillage.com Go to the pregnancy and parenting section and then click on message boards. Then choose any message board you want. They have a First Time Mom's Club and also an expecting club for every month. You just pick the month you are due and select that expecting club message board. Those women on that board would all be about as far along as you are. I really like it.

oh!!!! yes!!!! i have forund the best site ever.....its called mommytalk.com i love it there i have gotten so much great advicefrom well seasoned mothers and grandmothers alike....everyone is very respectful of anothers beliefs and thereis No DRAMA there....which sets it aside from the other mommy sites.it has so much to offer....there is a chat.... and lots of forums, i know some great friendships have been built from this site.... in AZ they have even orginized a play group and get together often to do fun things like the zoo.... all i can say is that i love mommytalk.com and you really should come for a visit.

I have visited this site for years, even though I am done having bambino's..... I like to keep up with those that I "knew" before! :) This site is just great... It was started for people with infertility, but in the pregnancy section, they have all different forums you can view/ask questions. My favorite feature are the due date clubs. They are clubs based on the calendar month that you are due to deliver in, so everyone is going through about the same stuff as you. There are also parenting boards for when you have your baby. If you're looking to get close to the group of women you're talking to www.babiesonline.com (then find the message board section and register) is awesome. I joined there when I was pregnant with my 2nd in January of 2005. I still go there daily to talk with all of the girls and offer support. I've made great friends there and they are about to see me through pregnancy #3!
