Unfortunately, yes. My best friend died of colon, liver and pancreatic cancer in 1994 at the age of 31. She was diagnosed in 1993. I miss her so much. She was involved with a man who abused her physically, during her CHEMO. (he threw her out of a moving car) I told him that if he EVER pulled a stunt like that I would kill him. (I meant it, too.) The next day, my friend was mad at ME for letting her boyfriend know the score. She actually defended him! Unfortunately, we didn't speak much after that, and I hadn't heard from her for three months. I called her home number but it was disconnected. I finally called her workplace, and the receptionist recognized my voice, and said, "Um, you don't know? Amy died two weeks ago." It was like being sucker punched in the gut. I never got to say goodbye to her and let her know how much I loved our friendship, and it hurt like hell. It took me years to grieve over it. I'm still not over it.

I went by means of chemo and lost my good arm. Been a couple of years and the cancer hasn't lower back, however lifestyles seriously sucks now, although i would not alternate places with you, yours relatively screws up your ability to live. So far as it goes, do not sweat the suicide thing...It's no longer suicide if you can't take anymore pain or agony and simply need it to finish. My advice is to present the medical professionals a shot though... You're not simply potentially helping yourself, don't forget that additionally they gain knowledge of extra concerning the sickness with each sufferer, and perfect surgical strategies in order that the following character (possibly any one you understand) has a greater danger of coming through cure extra comfortably, or even utterly recovers. It's your battle, and you'll be able to understand when adequate is adequate, so don't let humans come to a decision for you. This is not going to be widespread recommendation, however disregard every person else's opinions-- even the ones who did have cancer-- that was once their fight, and that is yours.

My wife came down with breast cancer in about 1990 and it came back in 2002. She died in 2004 from encephalitis. It is thought that her cancer caused her body not to be able to throw off the infection. In a way it was lucky that she died this way, because her cancer doctor told us that once breast cancer comes back, it can not be cured. This way she was only really sick for about a month. I always thought she would have a slow, painful death like so many cancer victims do.
