Well if you have to ask...
I love it because no matter how hard you try you will never fully understand how it all got here, where it came from, how it works, and what it dose, or is going to do... There are so many discoveries to be made, and so much to explain. And sending humans to another planet, and getting the first real pictures of Pluto in 3 years, ending the shuttle fleet. Testing the Constillation ship, and going back to the moon for good... There is just a lot going on...

Good question. Everything. Space, the Universe, Astronomy is a study of where we came from, how the dynamics of the Universe operate and how our future will be.
The study of astronomy itself is to answer the many questions about the Universe. Humans are genuinely curious and space offers many mysteries for us to seek answers for. I am personally mesmerized by its beauty ( see http://astroversity.blogspot.com/2007/07/best-space-image-out-there.html for an example), its wonder, and its mere existence.

Well for one thing it is not crowded like lots of cities I know of.
For another thing, land is rather cheap way out there. you can pick up 1000 acres for next to nothing.
Taxes are cheap to non-existant in Outer Space.
My Mother - in - law is a long way from me when I am in Outer Space.

You get to stretch out on the couch and you have room to relax. My cat sometimes is in my space, so I have to push her away.
