MySpace is only unsafe if used wrong. Don't post your private info on there, don't agree to meet people, don't post risky pics drawing attention to yourself, don't engage in perverted convo's w/ people who initiate them. When you feel uncomfortable w/ someone, block them as a friend/whatever. Don't tell people where you live, not even your state, don't give out your real age or name of your school or even names of your school teams, they can find you that way if they try. Don't tell them your private life info, things tend to slip out. MySpace should only be used to keep in touch with people you know. Katie Johnson from Lansing Michigan is not a friend, she's just some girl you emailed. See what I'm saying? She could just as easy be some dirty ol' man seeing what kind of info he can get out of you by gaining your trust. Just be smart and you'll be safe. There are research sites that educate you on signs to look for if you think you are in an unsafe situation online, get w/ your parents and read them. It could save your life.

The problem with myspace is that numb skulls put personal information up there that enables perverts etc.. to find them. Therefore the problem is not myspace but the users on myspace. You think your anonymous sitting in your bedroom, but anyone who wants to can easily find you based on the information you put up there.
You list the school you go to - bingo every whack job in the world knows what town you live in. If you put a picture of yourself there, you just rang the pervert dinner bell.

myspace is safe it is just all in what you do on it. If you don't' put personal things on the site like your full name address ss# phone numbers address or anything like that then it is safe. If you only let people that you really know on it instead of having 100000 people on your friends list. Myspace is safe. It is the younger people that don't really know not to do that kind of thing, and they get themselves into trouble.

Myspace is safer, but you need to adjust your page, that is all. 6 months ago, my page is NOT safe until I change my page "public to private" so people cant see my page. ONLY people I KNOW can see my page!!
So I made myspace more safer!
