the rubber broke.. i got my period a week later (and it was also a week early in my cycle) and it was very very light like spottting and lasted 3days.. then my next period was 5weeks later(and a week late in my cycle!) and very heavy.. whats going on?! my bf still wants me 2 take a test but i dont know if theres a point..

It can't hurt to take a test and they're not painful or even extremely expensive. You really never know, my ex-bf and I used birth control and a condom. Condom broke. I got one period, and then a weird period, and then... you guessed. I've a 10 month old daughter now.
It's better to just take the test now and get it over with for a few reasons. The logical - you need to know! If you're not there will be a weight off of your shoulders and if you are you have some important decisions to make. It's not something that you should put off and delay just because you're scared of the outcome.

If you had just had the one really light period, I would say take a test. However, like others have said, it would be highly unlikely that you would have a very heavy period and still be pregnant. What could have happened is you could have had a very early miscarriage. Especially with the heavy period being late and all. A lot of people don't seem to know this, but 75% of pregnancies end in the first two weeks after conception and most of the time the woman just thinks she had a late, heavy period. (This can be verified on AmazingPregnancy.com, a medical website.) However, if taking a pregnancy test will give you and your boyfriend peace of mind, then by all means it makes sense to do it. There could be any number of explanations for periods to go hay-wire. Stress included! Take a test and find out. If nothing else it will either set your mind at ease or give you time to prepare and make any decisions you need to.

Probably not, your irregular period is probably down to worry. But I would recommend you take a test just for piece of mind.

Every ones body reacts different to pregnancy, if I was you I'd take a test just to ease my mind and his. Get the first responce and wee on the stick and wait to see if you are or not.

there's a chance your not pregnant as your having your periods but some women do have periods all over the place as well when they are pregnant. you should do a test

The crazy period are probably due to worrying about being pregnant.
Do a test if you think you are.

Just take the test. Is you BF likely to dump you if you are or if you are not. i think that is what you are worried about

sounds like your not ...but....if your bf is that worried send him to the chemist for a test kit..... pee on it ...then your know and can deal with it....there always a point for peace of mind
