Well I can bring the plants inside once it gets cold can't I? and besides, it won't hit below 60 degrees until about late september anyway.

Its really too late to plant seeds now and expect flowers before winter. You may be able to find annuals on sale at garden centres to put in your pots.

Next year, start your flower seeds indoors about 6 weeks before planting out date. Or plant the seeds outdoors about the time of the last frost date.
