One if I'm being completely honest with you. I hate dating around going from relationship to relationship... I think life would be so much simpler if you could just meet The One, your true match the one that you click with better than everyone else and marry that person instead of spending time on all the decoys.

well, let's see... I've always heard there is no perfect person out there for anyone. Based on that assumption, you could have one significant other to satisfy each type of need. For example, one really strong protective man, one romantic, sentimental, loving man, one to go out and have fun with, that can make you laugh. One to be serious and take charge, take care of every little thing. They are all men, so the s-e-x wouldn't be an issue, but based on that philosophy that one man can't possess all those things, I'd say 4.
If you are lucky enough to find one man that satisfies your every need, then just 1, but hang on to him for dear life. ;-)
Currently, I'd be able to get by with 2. LOL

Well, when I was married to my first wife, I'd have said NO wives and 3~4 girlfriends.
Now that I'm married to my second wife - I love her so much, it's absolutely insane. Now my answer is: One wife.

Just the one wife I have. She's been there for me through thick and thin, and I've had many of those. Love and marriage is a two way street and you have to give to receive and that's us.

I would have two husbands, definitely.
There is NO shortcoming with the one I have, it's just that someone I know really appeals to the other side of me.
