Go to control panel, click on add/remove programs, click on add/remove windows components. You will need your original windows disks

MSN Explorer and Internet Explorer don't always turn out to be the same thing. You can try going to the start button, clicking on Run, then typing "iexplore" (no quotation marks) in the open box, then clicking on OK. If IE is still there, it will run. Right click on any open space on the tool bars, and it should give you the option to create a shortcut.

If this doesn't work, you will need to find your Windows install discs or, better yet, go online elsewhere and order a copy of IE or another browser on CD. That way, you're sure you have the entire program and not just an install file you need a working internet connection to use... Microsoft will send you IE on CD for about $5 shipping/handling the last time I checked; I'm not sure what Firefox will cost you, but it shouldn't be much different.

Good luck!
