No disrespect to our men in uniform because not all of them do this...
But on several occasions, I've almost been struck by a squad car going 15 miles over the speed limit, with no lights/sirens, and stops at the red light ahead, so obviously he's not heading to an emergency...and I ALWAYS see police officers speeding, riding someone's bumper, and changing lanes without signaling!...But aren't these the same things they pull everyone else over for???....
Sometimes I wish I could give THEM tickets for violating the same traffic laws that WE get penalized for!...lol
Anybody else experience this?

Andypie25...I believe you...my mother and her friend witnessed the SAME thing...they put their sirens on just to go get something to eat!...Darn shame!

Yes. The cops always speed. Follow them where they are going and get out of your car and say "Citizen's arrest." Carry a pad of paper and write them out a ticket.
That reminds me of a time when I was going down the street and the cop came barreling off one of the side roads with his lights on and I had to slam on the brakes so I wouldn't hit him, then he got a block down the street and shut his lights off and just drove off. He wasn't even after anyone.

Yes! The other day I was sitting at a light and a cop was in the next lane. It was a long light and he must have been impatient because he turned his siren on, went through the light, turned the light off and pulled into a Dunkin Donuts!! I kid you not!

It's all the donuts fault.
Put a control freak on a sugar high and you might get anything. Remember the Twinkies defense???
I have seen a few that I would like to go well beyond a ticket. Some of them need to cuffed and stuffed a couple of times.

I feel the same way. They never wear a seat belt and the other day I saw one on his cell phone. They should have to wait for the green light like every one else.
It makes you wonder if they follow the law during their off time. You know they don't give tickets to each other as a "professional courtesy"

I know what you mean. They think they can do whatever they want when they are driving around. Like you said, it's not even when they have their lights or siren on, they are just cruising around and pretending the law doesn't apply to them. Most of them are okay though.

Yes i wish we could give them a ticket also. Cause so many are breaking simple traffic laws that otherwise if we did them we would be stopped in a heartbeat.

I would love it as a black man. Just to be able to stop them and ask them to step out of the car. Search the car while I have them laying on the ground. Search them as well and after I find nothing, send them on their way feeling violated.
