New York has just been told we are not going to get any more money to help protect us from terrorist. Were the hell is our Senator Clinton? We are not as important to her as her run for the office of the president but you better believe she will be the first one crying that Bush and everyone but her should have done something if we are attached again. If she is not willing to do her job as senetor what can we expect from her (God forbid) she becomes president.

You can't. The woman has no ethics except her own advancement. She screeches like a harpy. She changes colors like a chameleon. If we got her president, we'd have an the evil twin of a pushme-pullyou.

You need to back up the bus. Read the following:

REMARKS ON THE SENATE FLOOR OF SENATOR HILLARY RODHAM CLINTON ON HOMELAND SECURITY FUNDING...

"Mr. President, as we all remember, on September 11, 2001, terrorists murdered 2,819 Americans, including 2,752 in New York, 343 firefighters and paramedics and 60 police officers lost their lives -- the single-deadliest attack on American soil in our history.

...New York City and Washington, DC remain at the top of any intelligence that we get with respect to threats, and yet they were given drastic reductions. Funding under the Urban Area Security Initiative alone was slashed in New York City by more than 40 percent and in Washington, DC by 43 percent.

New York State has been struggling since 9/11 to come up with a comprehensive state plan and has been trying to scrape together funds to make up for what are shortfalls from the federal government.

Well, today I'm joining my colleague, Senator Mikulski, my partner, Senator Schumer, in introducing an amendment to the fiscal year 2007 Homeland Security Appropriations bill to restore the Homeland Security Grant Program funding. This amendment provides an additional $790 million in homeland security funds so that next year's levels of funding will match those of 2005. That's all this asks for: bring back the funding to what it was two years ago."

It was quite the speech, if you want to read it all access the link below:

EDIT: I love the thumbs down, simply for proving you wrong. It's really pretty amusing.

Why didn't Hillary run for the senate in Arkansas, because the people in that state know what she's really like and she wouldn't even be able to get a job as a dog catcher. She went into N.Y. state where she is hardly known and knew that she would be able to BS most of the people there

I know how you feel. I think the same thing about Obama. He promised to serve his full term as the Illinois senator and now he is more concerned with running for president.
