this is a good name. its a name of a goddess!!! its not common and have a deeper meaning. its has history. not like any common name.

Yes it is, I had a good friend named Althea. Her father named her after the Grateful Dead song of the same name.


I told Althea I was born to be a bachelor she said ok thats fine! Now.. I'm trying to catch her.

Not bad but I don't like it. Doesn't suite my taste for names. I like names like: Rebecca, Rachel...Althea is too hard on my tongue!

i think it's pretty. there really isn't a good or bad name for boys or girls these days. I went to high school (many years ago) with a girl named justin. it was weird but after a while i started to like it.

she died in the bathtub of a drug overdose I believe....I thought she died of an overdose but had AIDS? hmmm..ok I looked it up she died of the overdose
