Is there some kind of internal adjustment to prevent a good solid flow of hot water? Perhaps some kind of anti-scold mechanism? I know that my shower was hotter before installing this new faucet. In addition, I have a dual shower, I installed the same exact model in both locations and both of them only get warm, not hot.

Thanks Plumbers!

Most modern showers now have the antiscald device on them. This should have an adjustment, refer to your installation instructions for the exact method to adjust.

A lot of new faucets come with something called 'scald control' a device in the faucet itself to keep the water from getting to hot and burning someone. This can be adjusted in the handle unit. read the directions to get the required info on how to adjust the temp. or call 'Price Pfister' with the model #

Best guess would be an anti-scald setting is not turned high enough. Normally, the adjustment is under the handle. You should have instructions with the units you purchased. If not, try their website.

Open the coverplate thing on the handle. There is a plastic thing inside there, usually white.Lift it out and turn it slightly to the left before putting it back in.

this depends on the country you live. As you do not say it sounds as though it could be England. If so all I can say is GOOD LUCK!
