I need to save space and can't decide whether to buy the space-saver bag which you use with a vacuum cleaner (to suck out the air) or one of the hand-rolled compression bags. What's your experience of them? I was going to buy it from Argos.

The vacuum one will have better results, but the roll-up ones are super-great for trvelling. Always can use extra space in that suitcase! I have both, loads. VERY happy with the vacuum ones for duvets, coats, etc. Wow....

I have the space bags and the travel mini compression bags... I love them both.. However, when I use the space bags w. vacuum it never seems to stay flat.. Air gets in... I've tried everything.. However, it does still save a ton of space... I use the mini compression for travel.. .they are great... Get some of each and try..

hand rolled ones cause that's what my mom uses and it works a lot better and way easier than the vaccum ones.
