Like Monopoly too...I got the Here and Now edition. However, I lovie...lovie...love Sorry.

Have aney one played the game GO yes the name is GO it is so gooooooooooooooooooooood i cant say it enough wall yea i can but that is not the point. The point is that i love the game GO but do not fuss the game Monopoly is up there. Go is a two people game and is hard to find for me i had to have the full sized board in wood in maple that was hard to fined i bet you can go to all most all big box stores and by it there. I you have played it before and if not plezzzz do it's a grate game. If you like strategy maybe the best i also love chase i do not know how to play chakeres and a under played game is pente that is a good game and another one is King's court that game is grate. But i still like Go Go is like older than spiders or evin older than dert it self so play it and have fun:)

1830, The Game of Railroads and Robber Barons

It's an old game from Avalon Hill where you buy and sell stock in railroad companies. It's really cool cause it's 100% strategy and no luck (no dice involved). The downside is that it takes 5-6 hours to play.

In terms of relatively new games, I love Apples to Apples. We have 3 different versions of the game (regular, junior, and the 9+ age range version).

I grew up loving Monopoly, Clue, and Risk... since then I have delved into more involved board games... they are involved but not *difficult*, they are Ticket To Ride, Carcassonne, and Puerto Rico... all great ones.

I like Trivial Pursuit. My head is full of useless knowledge. I also like Monopoly. It's my wife's favorite game.

my favorite is monopoly too
i dominate at the game and it is so long that you can play one game and you don't feel bored for like a week. also i enjoy how much you get to build up so the other players lose. haha
