It is brown, about an inch long, segmented and moves if u tuch it. It is possibly a pupa, but of what kind of insect. I found 2 of them.

Pupas don't move. They are a step in development where the insect is inactive while changing to the next step.

It sounds like a larva possibly from a dragon fly. Mosquitoes don't have segments. They look like worms with big heads and are also much smaller than that.

you need to call the men in black ASAP. Do not touch those things and whatever you do don't go near the pond. The mother may still be in there. Do you have a gun? Load it? Better yet get in your car and drive as far and as fast as you can.

Or it could just be a leech.

the characters match with leach...
shiny skin with brown or dark brown colour with body segmented

Sounds like it could be mosquito larvae.
