dont waste anymore time trying to pursue this friendship. contrary to what your parents say, this person is not your friend. as such, why should you be chasing her around when she isnt doing the most basic things to maintain the friendship. friendship is a two person thing and it requires both parties to participate. this person isnt even participating and being friends with her is costing you more in emotional anguish than it is giving you in friendship. do yourself a favor, totally cut her off. if she is truly your friend she will come to you to rekindle it. most likely though she wont and you can move on and find a real friend.

Hey buddy,
sounds like you don't have many friends? i am not putting you down.... just trying to understand what incredible powers she has over you that is making you are so upset and falling apart because of her actions? I have been there before....what I did to deal with this was to sit down and talk with her. ask her what she wants from you? or what you can do to make things better? friendships are a give and take type of thing. we all need them and want them. you are investing time and feelings, so you need something in return. if you are not getting this, then maybe it's time to leave or let her go and move on. she is not thinking of your feelings and she certainly is not treating with the respect and dignity you deserve. you have every right to question her actions, let her know this..... get mad. express yourself! if you let her step all over you without being told why or how to change, then she really doesn't care about you...............
Go out and find real friends, friends who know how to treat you like a friend. she may have her own issues. pushing them off on you is not the right thing to do............
Take control of the situation, you can fix this or end it! you make the call........................
good luck bro-

Friendships come and friendships go. It's a part of life that, sometime or another, you will have to learn to deal with. I went through a similar dilemma and, it's taken time, but I've accepted that we're just different enough that friendship is difficult. So, I enjoy the time we have to hang out, and when we don't have time, I don't sweat it.

Honestly, get other friends. It doesn't matter what your parents say, it's your decision. This girl is using you so don't keep the friendship. Who wants to be in a friendship where you're being used?
