There's nothing big that you have to do. Bring a copy of your marriage license and bring it to the DMV to change your ID. Also bring a copy to the Social Security Administration to have your name change in your social security card, they will issued you a new one. Then go open bank accounts with your new last name (they need your new ID). I think that is it! See, that was easy.

That's it really. If you have real estate or want to change it on a car note, just take in a copy of the marriage license and that'll be sufficient.
