Its Cascading Style Sheets that you need to learn how to use. w3schools.com has plenty of tutorials and lessons on learning and implementing every aspect of html, especially CSS. The problem with myspace though is that it doesn't let you use a lot of the things you will want to, but it supports quit a bit.

I takes a lot of time to learn how to make a full HTML layout for Myspace. I recommend just using a profile generator, which makes the layout code for you.

http://www.pimp-my-profile.com/generators/myspace.php is a good site to make a layout.

Myspace uses what is called CSS or Cascading Style Sheets for the vast majority of the styles on the page.... You need to get a book or read online about CSS and how to use it....

It is a mildly complex tool (If you dont understand HTML).

Using CSS you can set font, color, background-image, and other things. Tom has predefined classes that are to be modified to change all text in that class.

Once you understand the CSS you place it into your profile where you put your "About Me" and if done correctly will show.

Okay...
Go to www.mygen.co.uk
Click on "Profile Editor".
Then it should show 5 tabs:
"Background, Tables, Text, Scrollbar, Other".
Now find the picture you want to be on your background.
Right click on it.
Copy the URL.
Then paste it on the "Background Image URL" thingy under the Background tab...
And the rest is pretty easy.
Good luck.
