Women have allowed men to usurp their power. It is our insecurities that give men license to abuse.
Women put up with it because of fear, fear of abandonment and fear of reprisal.

Personally, I would never tolerate mistreatment! But in answer to your question, I think it's the fear of being alone and thinking that being alone is not being loved. Some women grew up in an environment which allowed different types of abuse and it seems perfectly normal for them. How sad that so many women are living in abuse and don't have to.

I'm a man that doesn't mistreat women but I think some women learn form what they see but that's a good question I'd like to know.

Because men and women are equally stupid. As a man, I can clearly see female stupidity. In the same way, my female friends know when I am engaging in male idiocy. A lot of women are attracted to precisely the wrong sort of man. If somebody mistreats you, drop him IMMMEDIATELY. He will not change, never, ever, ever, ever. Get a new boyfriend.

We do? I don't. I am single and prefer it until Armageddon.
I just don't have much faith in the men anymore in this world. They are too influenced by sex, television, movies, and almost every other form of trash and immorality.
I hate it when the bumrush up on me. I wish they would just keep going,...on to the next female who allows them to mistreat them like you said; like you. I am not like you, you know?
You don't have to accept that kind of behavior.

Because most women think with their collective butts. Men mostly think with their genitalia too. The phrase "He's so cute" never got a woman a real man, but it has gotten them a whole lot of trouble, deceases, black eyes, and dumped.

because some women think they can change a bad boy into a good boy. I'm sorry but that doesn't just miraculously happen. They stay and keep hoping this will happen until they wake up ten years later and realized that bad boy hasn't changed at all.

I self-analyzed myself over this. I'm 51, & my parents were older than most when they had me. My mother was a child during the depression. Women stood by their man no matter what, because their options were limited. Throw in religious teaching & guilt, & we'll put up with anything. I was married twice, 11 years, one child & nine years to one who almost killed me. I'll tell you more if you e-mail me.

Because you like it like that, otherwise you would get bored. Woman love drama. Men love chillen with a good woman whether the guy is good or not he still likes a good woman.

We don't. Or at least generally we don't.
Some women do for a variety or reasons. Low self-esteem is at the top of the pile.
