Oh, please. SOMEone has to keep me entertained while I waste away before the computer, forgetting to feed and water myself. I don't even bother baiting. I just like the questions, themselves (some of them, anyway. some are just sooo not funny....)

I know what you mean. But how can you tell when a question is fake or honest. I know some of them aren't but they sound so authentic. (Is yours for real? LOL). Sometimes I think certain people are having a contest among themselves as to who can ask the most inane questions.
But since I want to earn points I just try to answer as if they are real except for yesterday. I was bad. I was so frustrated and in such a foul mood about Y/A because I was having so much trouble getting Best Answers so I started answering with the funniest and stupidest questions I could come up with. Those questions that seem legit I didn't do that.
Do you know how to delete resolved questions on my list. I wrote Yahoo and of course they didn't answer.
A lot of the questions I just simply ignore and shake my head in wonder.

I agree with you about that to some point. It is funny how serious people take this stuff. However when I see a question about decapitating children or about how they just brutally raped an elderly woman and need to know what to do with blood is a whole other story. Yes I do know that they are not serious about it but having children the last thing you want to read is something about how they just cut off a 3 yr olds head. There was a 97 yr old woman in Philadelphia that was beat and raped in her home then here comes smitty with some dumb sh*t about how he needs to hide the blood from this rape of a elderly woman.

I'm sorry, but I am one of those who answers most questions 'seriously' ... and yes, I do know that they may be 'made up' or are meant to be 'funny' ... but since there are many who come here for 'help' and some of them have 'similar questions' but for some reason don't want to ask them, I give my 'serious' answer to help THEM, not necessarily to help the person who actually asked the question. I do NOT answer EVERY question seriously, though ... in fact, some of the 'fun or humorous' questions I'll answer in the 'same language' as it was asked ... or I'll take a clue from the avatar or screen name and write an 'appropriate' answer ... which is 'serious' in it's own way.

I find it rather amusing that so many people take these seriously. Most of these are obviously for fun so when someone gives a serious answer i tend to chuckle a little at their stupidity. Its probably a bunch of like 12 year old kids who think they know everything

You may not be taking into account the tongue-in-cheek answers some clever people give, that you mistake for blissful ignorance. I play dumb a lot, it's fun. I get a few thumbs down, but it's cool. Be enlightened, grasshopper

Actually, I would vote for escalation. I think it's good to give them something to work up the adrenaline with.
