Just a little proof? Something? Anything? A link? with thousands of people starving you would think there would be some way to prove it.

Take a trip down to appalachia, my friend. No one sees people starving there, as the families are tucked away in the hills...but they're there.

I recall an article where a son starved his invalid mother to death then continued to collect and cash her social security checks. He is in prison now.
Does that count?
Basically yes, but noone starves in America unless it is the result of a deliberate crime. Most of our "poor" are taking the lead in the obesity epidemic.
