Let length of side = x cm
Area of 1 face = x² cm²
Area of 6 faces = 6x² cm²
6x² = 96
x² = 16
x = 4
V = 4 x 4 x 4 cm³
V = 64 cm³

surface area = 96 cm^2

cube has 6 sides so 96/6 = 16 cm^2
so each side's area is 16 cm^2

area is l x w, and since squares have equal sides, sqrt(16) = 4
each side of the cube is 4 cm

volume is l x w x h...since each side is 4 cm....4^3 = 64 cm^3

volume: 64 cm^3
