You don't even know what I meant by that, yet everyone else did...Allow me make it easier for you to understand or "comprehend"
Smart Aleck answers are answers that people give when they are just trying to basically show off how much of a genius they are ( which has absolutely nothing to do with big words) and how you're so stupid for not knowing the answer. Or it can be them just trying to get smart with you and being very condescending....
So the issue is not vocabulary, okay! the issue is people giving unecessary answers that no one can use and that are not helpful
such as " Duh" " How would I know" or "And you're how old?" or "Don't ask questions about something you don't know about" Yeah, I got that one and that's the dumbest one Ive heard...
Hopefully I "clarified" this enough for you

I don't know what you mean by "smart aleck answers". Is it the vocabulary they use that confuses you or do they write too much for a simple thing? Be a little more specific.
And maybe learn a few "big" words to solve your problem.
