Almost 300k It was an older model volvo wagon. I gave it up because the stuffing in the seats disintegrated and it needed new seats. I wish I had bought new seats instead. That was a wonderful car. I bought it with over 200k on it.

The longest I have ever owned a car was 2 years, It was a 98 Ford Ranger, I bought it had it for a while and got ride of it, I never keep nothing long. But in two years I put over 25,000 miles on it. But the highest milage car I have ever had was a 89 VW Jetta, It had 200,000 miles on it when I got rid of it, and it is still drivin.

A car can work foreever until its pats breaks. If the spare parts are available it can be replaced and the car will continue to work. This is why their is still the Ford-T which was the first car to be built in chain. The only thing that can end is the miles gauge staying at 999999.

I still drive a 1996 Chevy Cheyene V6 pickup with 300k+ miles on the odometer. I bought it new. I bought it with a V6 for a reason (V6 has a smoother torque than a V8). I like it. I won't sell it. I'm glad the bad guys stopped trying to steal it. It looks like an old farm truck by now.

I have a 1987 Oldmobile Cutlas Calais- with 270,000 miles on it sitting at home. It still runs- I just wouldn't take it far.

I drive a 91 Honda Accord with 180,000 miles.

Heh... I'm so pathetic...I usually trade them in when the warranty expires!

I currently have an 04 Saturn Ion with about 90k miles on it. It's running beautifully, and as much as I'd love a new car, I can't justify it!

I have had my current car, Lincoln Towncar, since 1996, and have put 125,000 on it myself. I bought it two years old so it has about 160,000 on it. I keep it maintained and it continues to run fine. Only minor problems with some electrical items but still a great car.

I own a 96 Honda Accord. Bought it used. I have had it 6 years, it has 219,000 miles. I still have it. In awesome shape, because I take care of it. I have no intentions of getting rid of it.
