it's not they think they are black, it's just that the black community is one that has welcomed them. Blacks and hispanics share many similar traits, for example hair and skin care. The music is very much alike and just in general the cultures are very similar.
When someone looks at me all they see is a black girl, until they start to speak to me and then they say im a black gir that speaks like a white girl and when they finally get to know me i become a black girl that speaks like a white girl that is just happens to be hispanic...yes both of my parents are hispanic (cuba/panama) and when i fill out an application i check the hispanic box that who i am...
just becuase you are of a certain race or look like a certain race why should you have to live up to the stereotypes....its not the color of your skin but the contents of your character that matters.
the sooner the world realizes this the better off we all will be!

They're just followers.
50 years ago, Bonicuas wanted to be Italian, now they wonna be Black, in another 50 years maybe they wonna be Chinese... lol
