Depends on how you define the world and the end.

If you mean the end of human (or suitably intelligent animal) habitation of the Earth, probability really cannot be accurately assessed. It involves quite a bit of speculation, particularly when it comes to us sowing the seeds of our own destruction.

Our solar system will assuredly burn out at some distant point. It is a time that can be computed.

The universe is expanding. Will it reach a point where basic celestial compactness is destroyed? Not known. It is a limitation of humans continually star hopping through the universe as each solar system burns out. There comes a point where the next hop is so distant, even if it is known to be habitable, that it is energetically impossible to reach.

Should the universe eventually collapse to a poit and big bang again, that cycle's period's end would certainly qualify as a demarcation of the end of the world.

This might seem like a stupid answer, but the world will end for each of us when we die. That is the only theory that fits the facts. Anything else you may hear or read is either myth (by its exact definition) or fiction.

Apophis is scheduled to make its closest approach of <.1 Lunar Distance(LD). Any variation to its orbit caused by factors outside our current viewing range could shift that to a collision event. It's big enough and fast enough to at least make life very ugly if not end it all.
