I am visiting Las Vegas next week, and I would love to have Korean BBQ (Japanese Yakiniku) while I am in Vegas. Any suggestions? THANKS!

There is a place called Ginseng across from Monte Carlo. The food is pretty good but pricey. There are 3 Korean restaurants on the strip.

I have yet to find any authentic restaurant of any kind in Las Vegas. There are many good restaurants there but they are still poor imitations of the real thing. I went to a Korean Barbecue on the strip (opposite Circus Circus) but my bowels did not move for a week afterward. The meat was like leather.

try same question @ www.chowhound.com

For Steve H - one of the most authentic Thai places I've ever been to was in Las Vegas - I forget the name but I found it via chowhound.com. It was in a strip mall a couple blocks off the strip - past the Circus Circus.

If you're looking for that tender, juicy, flavorful bulgogi meat, then you can't go wrong with boneless beef rib-eye available in the meat department at most grocery stores. Ask a butcher to slice it for you as thinly as possible. A cheaper alternative would be beef sirloin which is more chewy and less tasty. Tenderloin is my personal favorite cut from beef but it truly depends on what dish I'm making.
