"Service Engine Soon" at times people get confused as to this means "Check Engine" most times the service engine soon can mean that you need to maintnance your vehicle such as oil and oil filter. When a certified machanic changes your oil he would know how to clear that light, its not tough its just a tricky little thing you have to do but at times it can just be a button underneath your steering column. If for some reason this light works for "Check Engine" and "Service"Just a reminder if Gas caps are to be changed every 100,000 miles.

Your change oil soon light should be comming on and the service engine soon light will be on. You are wearing out your cars engine, after a time oil will break down and be ineffective.

service engine soon light could come on as a reminder for interval maintanance such as oil change and others. check engine light wont come on because of oil.

Not likely. It comes on when a sensor is malfunctioning and needs service. Make sure your gas cap is on, as that will also trigger the dash light to come on.

yes! you could really mess you're car up from not changing the oil.

please get your oil changed you are killing your cars engine and take care of any other maintenance you might need at that time . good luck .
