I do my best, yes. It's a constant thing, perfecting the attitude of selflessness. Some days it's easy and some days it's hard, but I think I'm better at it than I used to be.

If your talking about the men and women who have fought for this country (USA) and giving back to them then you should have a long list of No answers.

In this country we have done what we've done for our freedom and other countries freedom and so on. Our men and women have come home to shame and humilation as well as having there lives completly changed because they no longer have the body parts they had when they went into the military. And that's just the tip of this conversation....just the tip.

Our country this wonderful place we Americans call our home should truly be ashamed of the way we treat our people after serving time in the military, they should be treated like kings and queens, especially those who have been injured and I don't just mean physically because there is much mental angiush I'm sure that goes with it. Families loose loved ones, and what do they really get for that.
No I don't believe this entire country does right by the people that put there lives on the line for it, sorry to say.

you mean air? Money? blood?

Its an appauling question if you think about it. There is no balance in a greedy heart or a bleeding heart.

If you give too much you are sick. If you take too much you are sick. not because of some sort of idea that the world is a ledger that records good and bad deeds or action or even the idea one is too much of a burden supposedly because of what they take.

In an act of giving that is truthful there is no exspectation of repayment. Otherwise Giving to get is an act of greed.

So if anything was given "so" freely to me I would hope it would serve to remind that the act is a giving in both sides. Love, Money, Toil, or otherwise.

If that isnt what is thought of by giving then you may need to re exsamine the idea. Gifts are not investments they are gifts.

I have given back twice as much as what have been freely given to me. I have served in iraq and had my marriage end because of it.

Most definately!
I always use the *Pay it forward* method. If for some reason I cannot or have been told not to pay back, then I do something to help someone else down the road.It might not be an instant *Pay it forward*,but eventually somewhere along the line I apply it to someone else and in returnI I ask that person to *pay it forward* to someone else in the future.
Makes a body feel great!

As I get older I think more about giving something back. I hope others are doing the same.
