I don't fully understand how you meant this but here goes. Women will always matter even if they couldn't have sex with man. Men will always need someone to confide in and comfort them. Just as women look for security in men. Our relationships are symbolic, without one we cannot have the other. It takes balance to maintain everything.

I doubt it gets said much anymore in these more enlightened times, but there used to be something men said to one another that might apply to your question:
"If they didn't have [genitalia of one or another slang use] there'd be a bounty on them."
Naturally these days all that kind of feeling's been overcome by love and understanding, doubtless.
