From your 3 questions I feel you have some doubt or fear about Breast cancer. Please do not worry. There may not be any such thing.

Breast pain need not be Cancer. The pain may be for various reasons. You have to wait and see. If you have pain in both breasts you can confidently rule out the possibility of the disease. You have to watch for other symptoms like lump etc. Again not all lumps detected in the breast are cancerous. Fibrocystic changes in the breast are extremely common. Also known as fibrocystic condition of the breast, fibrocystic changes are a leading cause of non-cancerous lumps in the breast. Fibrocystic changes also cause symptoms of pain, swelling, or discharge and may become evident to the patient or physician as a lump that is either solid or filled with fluid. Complete diagnostic evaluation of any significant breast abnormality is mandatory because though women commonly develop fibrocystic changes, breast cancer is common also, and the signs and symptoms of fibrocystic changes overlap with those of breast cancer.

Some times with out any pain or symptoms the disease may erupt. So it is difficult to tell you the reason for the pain in breasts.

Had you given some more details like your age, marital staus, children etc. some idea could be possible. Any way if you are above 30 you should have to undergo cancer detection test and screeing like mammogram etc. as you can not take chances with this disease. Please consult your doctor immediately and he will do the needful. Best wishes. -

SYMPTOMS of pain lead to pain itself. It is no different with breast pain than any other pain. Symptoms of breast pain lead to breast pain. The causes of breast pain, on the other hand, are several and widely varied. If it is serious or persistent - see your health care provider.

It could mean your period is about to start or it could be a symptom of early pregnancy.
Or if you're a teen and still developing, it could be growing pains.
