You mean you don't hold with misogyny. That's just plain common sense, concientious and a moral duty as a human being. That would make you.... drumroll...... a decent person.

I consider myself a feminist because I do support women in their struggle to be self actualizing and autonomous. I also know that humanity is like a winged bird, if you suppress the works on one side of the bird, it will not fly. Flight occurs because both sides of the bird functions together and in balance. Discussions and delineations about feminism has been brought up to raise the consciousness of us all. Think about where these discussions began years ago, and looks at the good it has done so far.

Where i come from, if you say you are a feminist, it supposedly means two things (1) you are a lesbian (that's not seen as a good thing, mind you) and (2) you are destined to be a failure in marriage, so if your marriage fails it's ultimately your fault, and everyone pities your husband who was stupid enough to marry you in the first place. So yes, there feminists are seen as 'he-women'; the other extreme of a man who openly proclaims that all women are fish-brains & only good for giving birth to children, caring for them & cooking (a lot of them think it secretly, but to utter it in public, that's what's bad!!!!!!!!!). However, I've met a lot of feminist in relationships & who love the men in their lives. I've also met some feminists who think all men are scumbags. I'd say that It's generally difficult, whether a feminist or otherwise, for women to think all men are all that, cos they really ain't; no one is perfect after all. Being balanced is not about taking up a label, it's realising that each sex has its good points & bad points. There are characteristic best found in women, & others best found in men.

Feminism may be approximately women individuals's equality Masculism or Masculinism may be approximately adult adult males's equality Equalism or Egalitarianism may be approximately an unspecified (regular) equality. "*" Chauvinism or Sexism might join yet another container declaring the inferiority of the alternative gender. Now that there are distinctive communities of gender, new words have been created which i might grant upon request. according to hazard you're searching for "GENDER EGALITARIANISM" Congressman/woman or Congressman/Congresswoman are addressed as "Senator"

you don't have to be a feminist to be against bigotry. i am like you except that at 51 i am at the point in my life i don't really care what people think of me. if i see racism and bigotry toward any one or any group i usually get very vocal about it. some one has to to get it started. to let society know that it's time we all learn to live together as one group as a whole not fractions of white, black, indian.american indians, ect. i don't necessarily believe in eeverything that other groups believe in but i will fight for their rights to speak out ,even if it does make me go throw up. as for feminist. feminists don''''t eant equality they want superiorology.

Masculinity is the state of being male ... I think you mean 'mysogyny', which means 'hating women', and just because a man is 'masculine' doesn't mean he hates women! I'm pretty sure you don't mean that, though, from your question.

I think that you are going to start an interesting debate here.

You hold SOME feminist values.

I wonder if the word you are looking for is machoism rather than masculinity.

Being feminine or masculine is different than feminism and machoism.

I don't know that it's an either/or situation. You don't have to be feminist or... whatever they call it for men. Ha. To me it seems more important that all people are owed the same respect and offered the same opportunities. No need to label it.

feminism isn;'t about a balance. its the right that women have to do as men can without being told they cant do it because they are women. we know men are made different and women also, and there are certain trhings each sex can only do, but we shouldn't be refused because we are women.
welcome to feminism..try not to be so nice about it...us women are hardly taken seriously as it is...
