Work a second job if you already have one. I did this once when my car was dying, I worked 6 till midnight at a mail order book packing depot, before christmas is the ideal time as these places take on loads of extra staff.
If you live somewhere nice and warm, you can live in a tent in the garden and rent your house out (if you have one that is) I know that sounds dumb, but I did it and it got me the cash. Or get a flat mate. Or go back to your parents and rent your place out.
Do you have anything you could sell?

That's only $300/week*12weeks. You can do anything that pays at 40hrs * $9/hr. If you can't find a job that pays $9/hr, you aren't trying very hard! :) You can clean/polish/touch up furniture for me for that kind of money! :)
